I love this corner of the world!

Lets not get too fluffy, We exist within the Universe, we are part of the Universe, we are products of the Universe, we are, whether we like it or not, whether we are comfortable with the notion or not, all made of stardust, prehistoric supernovas, black holes and so much more.

We are made of super condensed energy, which forms the particles, electrons and other tinny bits that I can’t even pretend to remember or know the name of. We inhabit the same tinny world, all part of a greater energy system, all made of energy, all contributing and playing with the energy in ourselves and the world around us.

Yet we all define ourselves as distinct individuals, John is not Sarah, Paul is not David, Michael is not anything, or anyone else.

And although this maybe a convenient way to live, and make our way through life, and the world, it may not actually have much to do with what the reality of the situation is.

Our bodies change, what we eat becomes our flesh, our blood, old cells dies and fall away, to become dust and grime. Over a seven year period the stuff we are made of has almost completely been changed over and recycled.

Who we really are, and who we think we are could be two very different things, very different entities.

Who we think we are is made up of memories, definitions, how we dress, ideas, philosophies, pain, loss, hurt, love, pleasure, hope, who we are not, how we choose to live our lives, what we believe, who our friends are etc…

And who we are, which is a part of the Universe, an unknown and perhaps unknowable entity, a being with unlimited potential.

I’m not talking about your soul or your consciousness or some other abstract notion, I’m simply talking about you, you just as you are.

You think you know yourself, but perhaps the ideas you have about yourself are not really true, perhaps your own beliefs are themselves stopping you from living differently, from being someone else, from becoming who you might be?

Perhaps who you think you are something because you have accepted a belief or idea  when you where a child, since everyone told you that’s who you are and you believed them.

Perhaps life taught you that you are good at something’s and not good at others.

Perhaps you have discovered things about yourself, which you know and recognise as being true and as being real? But what if that was all rubbish?

What if in truth you were pure energy?

What if you were nothing but divine light?

What if you were in truth a spark of the Universe, a bit of God (although God doesn’t have parts)?

What if you actually created your own reality?

What if the entire universe responded and reflected the beliefs you have about yourself?

What if you have been sitting on a treasure trove of personal wealth and prosperity but were too afraid to give yourself the opportunity to experience it?

What if you love you’re the corner of the Universe which is you?

What if you loved yourself with all your heart, soul and might? What if you loved your life with all your heart? What if you loved the world you live in with everything you poses? What if you gave yourself the chance to be truly happy?
