What is Spiritual Life Enhancement?

Spiritual Life Enhancement is a programme used exclusively by Urban Guru to aid you with transitions in your personal life and in the process of self-actualization. It draws from a number of disciplines, including Kabbalah, Hassidism, Toaism, Zen, sociology, psychology, career counseling, NLP, CBT and numerous other types of counseling.

Everyone needs an Urban Guru; someone who believes in your abilities but can also help you set clear goals towards achieving the life you want. Having helped you to identify these goals, the Urban Guru will help you to prioritise them and encourage you to believe that they really are achievable. You might need to work on your health and fitness, stress management or personal finances, for example, to get where you want.

Sometimes we limit ourselves and cap our potential. Many talented people develop the belief that they are destined to remain in their current situation. This is usually the problem.

Spiritual Life Enhancement helps you to break negative belief patterns and set challenging aspirations. The Guru, applies mentoring, values assessment, behavior modification, behavior modeling, goal-setting, and other techniques in assisting you.

How does Spiritual Life Enhancement work?

There are many different types of techniques that I use to cater for the specific requirements and needs of each unique client. Some people want to focus exclusively on their career or business.

Some decide that we need to focus on their lifestyle and their whole life. In either case, we will generally work together on helping you to become more relaxed, focused, confident and content.

In addition, part of these techniques - is the setting of small realistic personal goals - on the way to the larger long-term life goals. Some of these goals or mini-exercises - are set firstly by your life coach and then eventually by you.

The Spiritual Life Enhancement process provides the support and encouragement you need to realise of your life goals.

The programme can be tailored to suit you and can be delivered in a flexible and cost effective way either at your home or workplace or in my home.

Sessions are normally 50 minutes, and can for the most part be broken down into four sections. The format and structure of any session usually includes:

1. Feedback on the tasks and goals set in the previous week, celebrating the small successes and finding out what if anything was difficult or unachieved. Finding out what the client wants to achieve from this particular session.

2. The setting of a particular exercise relevant to either the goals set in the previous week, or the particular needs of the client that week. These exercises are designed to question the clients’ primary beliefs and worldview, often challenging these assumptions. They can also include; role-play, visualisations, relaxation techniques, confidence building, time management skills, interpersonal communication skills, meditation and future goal setting.

3. Discussion about the exercise and the issues that they raise, and perhaps if needed a second exercise.

4. The setting of agreed goals, tasks and ‘homework’ for the upcoming week or period until the next Spiritual Life Enhancement session.

People usually benefit most from weekly or bimonthly face to face sessions, which can last for up to 3 or 4 months, after which, most people only require 2 by-monthly and 2 monthly sessions, just to monitor their progress.

How much does Spiritual Life Enhancement cost?

The first 55 minute Face to Face consultation is £100 with no obligations thereafter.

From there on, sessions are 50 minutes each £85 per session.

People usually get the greatest benefit from one weekly session for three months, and then once a month for another three months.

These can be face to face or by phone.

A monthly fee of £320

is also available and payable in advance.

1.) The standard fee for Life Coaching is £85 per 50 min session or the discounted fee of £320 for a minimum series of 4 sessions to take place within a calendar month.

2.) Life Coaching will be given in a series of weekly sessions and the fees for each series of 4 will be paid no later than the first lesson of that series.
